2-17-04 from Jack Also these numbers are subject to change as the Dyno needs to be re-run and compensated for auto transmition using 2nd gear, this affected torque curve results. Kevin, Sorry I didn’t get this out on Saturday, but I just ran out of time over the weekend. Here’s the dyno sheet from Friday. The truck was a normally aspirated, bone stock vehicle except for the addition of the Unichip. The solid lines are bhp and the dashed are torque; all values are corrected to sea level standard day and to the flywheel. The stock numbers are about 10% below Toyota’s claims, but that’s what our dyno showed for this particular truck – our dyno tends to be a bit stingy. Peak gain was 21.6 ft-lbs/16.4 bhp (12.4%) @ 4000 rpm and gain at peak was 4.4 ft-lbs/4.3 bhp (2.0%) @ 5000 rpm. A normally aspirated pre-programmed PnP kit will sell for $825 and the SC PnP kit for $945. At least 20 orders are required to qualify for a GB and a $100 deposit is required. At the minimum number, the GB discount is 10%. If the GB is for 30, the discount is 15%, and if the GB is for 40, the discount is 20%. The discount rate is applicable to both SC and NA trucks, and I’ll roll (if desired) both the 03+ and 99-02 trucks into the same GB. The complication, however, with combining the trucks is that the two trucks use separate harnesses and the 99-02 harness is several weeks behind the 03+ harness so that portion of the GB would take longer to fill. We’re working on the 99-02 truck this week and the gains will be identical since the engines are identical, but the hardware and software will be different. Let me know if people would like to proceed and we’ll set things up. Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions.
